Happy Holidays from Project Fi
SPOILER ALERT!
If you have Project Fi and haven't received or opened your holiday gift yet, don't read any further!
I received a package from Google today. I was pleasantly surprised because I hadn't ordered anything.

It looked like a Project Fi package, and a gentle shake sounded like legos. Opening the box confirmed both theories.

Pulling out the card in the lid revealed a not-so-subtle marketing pun.

The bricks in the bag weren't actually legos, but custom Project Fi branded bricks. Project Fi-gos I guess. I haven't tested whether they're compatible with actual Legos yet.
In any case, the card was actually an instruction booklet for how to build either a phone holder or a cable tidy. I chose to build the phone holder.

All-in-all I can't complain. I've never received holiday gifts from Verizon. I think it's a clever bit of marketing while building customer rapport.
Thanks Project Fi, Happy Holidays to you too!
