Apple Pie

  • 5-7 apples (sliced, tart)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. nutmeg
  • 2-4 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 pie crusts (unbaked)

Sift together sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Layer with apple slices. Dot butter on top. Cover with second pie crust and slash the top.

Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes, then 350°F for 40 minutes.
