Mincemeat Cookies
- 1⅛ cups Crisco shortening
- 2¼ cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1½ tsp. baking soda
- 4½ cups flour
- 2 cups mincemeat
- 1½ cups walnuts (chopped)
Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs, salt, and baking soda. Add flour, mixing after each cup. Stir in mincemeat, and chopped walnuts.
Drop walnut-sized servings onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350°F for 13 minutes.
